The Postcards from Paris Juried Art Show celebrates artistic excellence and creativity featuring carefully selected works from regional artists. This is a two day exhibit that will serve as a highlight for the 2026 Paris Art Fair.
The theme for this year’s fair is Postcards from Paris, Texas. Although the juried show is not themed, artists are still encouraged to explore what makes Paris, Texas unique—its landscape, people, history, culture, or spirit. Interpretations may be literal or abstract, representational or conceptual.

Artist Notification: Sunday, April 26th
Entry Fee Payment: $20 per entry
Artwork Delivery: May 4th - 14th
Reception & Awards: Friday May 15th, 5:00 - 7:00 PM
Exhibition Display: May 15th - 16th, 2026
Artwork Pickup: May 16th, 1:00 PM, Gibraltar Hotel.

Postcards From Paris 2026 Juried Art Show
Jurors' decisions are final. Approximately 40-60 works will be selected for exhibition.
Eligibility
Open to artists 18 years and older
Work must be original and created by the applicant
Work must have been completed within the last 3 years
Work must be available for the entire exhibition period
Categories
Artists may enter up to 3 works in any of the following categories:
Painting - oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, etc.
Drawing - pastel, charcoal, graphite, ink, color pencils, etc.
Photography and Digital Art - Digital or film, color or black & white, Computer-generated, digital painting, photo manipulation, etc. (must be printed and ready to display)
Mixed Media and Fiber - Collage, assemblage, fabric, thread, works combining multiple materials/techniques, etc.
Sculpture and Ceramics - Ceramic, wood, metal, fiber, glass, assemblage, etc.
Fees
Entry Fee: $20 per artwork (non-refundable)
Maximum entries: 3 works

Sales
The exhibit will not handle sales. Interested buyers will be referred to artists.
Works may be marked NFS (Not For Sale)
Awards & Prizes
Best in Show: $300 + Award Ribbon
First Place: $150 + Award Ribbon
Second Place: $100 + Award Ribbon
Third Place: $50 + Award Ribbon

Artwork Requirements
Size & Dimension Limits
2D Work: Maximum 36" on any side (including frame)
larger pieces can be submitted if artist provides standing easel
3D Work: Maximum 36" height, 24" width/depth
larger pieces can be submitted if artist provides pedestal
Weight: Maximum 50 pounds per piece
Exceptions may be requested in advance
Presentation Requirements
All 2D work must be framed or have supportive backing
Professional framing (no clip frames)
Wiring is encouraged but optional
There will be no wall hanging pieces at the venue, our exhibition team will display all 2D works on tables with easels, 3D works will also be set up on tables or pedestals.
Content Guidelines
Work must be appropriate for family viewing
No excessively violent, graphic, or sexually explicit content
No hate speech or discriminatory imagery
Organizers reserve the right to refuse display of any work deemed inappropriate

Paris Art Fair Juried Show will not insure any artworks. Artists will exhibit work at their own risk, unless individually insured.
Paris Art Fair is not responsible for any damage to artwork after drop off, in transit, during exhibit, and at pick up.

Minimum 1920 pixels on longest side
300 DPI preferred
Maximum file size: 10 MB

Show artwork only (no frames, mats visible unless part of work)
Well-lit, color-accurate photographs
Neutral background
Sharp focus, no blur
No watermarks or logos
